Well, it seems like forever since I have had a chance to post! I have been super busy with two major events this past week. The first was very special for our family ~ my daughter got her Aggie class ring. So this ment a trip down to College Station for the Ring Day festivities. Of course I have had not had time to scrap them yet, but here is the first photo of her and that ring!
I know she has worked so hard for that little piece of gold and I am so proud of her. :) The second on the list, which was right after the first, was a BIG party to celebrate a 16th birthday for my BFF's daughter. Of course, I got enlisted to make the cake. Don't these people know that they are cutting into my scrapbook time??? Here are photos of the cakes.
The theme was masquerade, so I made a really cute mask for the cake topper. It is made with Bazzill cardstock, May Arts ribbon, a Prima flower and rhinestones. That was as close to scrapbooking as I got this week :( Now, I am going back to scrapbooking, because I miss my paper. And frankly, making cakes this big makes too big of a mess in my kitchen. I hope everybody had as much fun as I did this past weekend. I love to see your comments~ thanks~! Anita.
Pretty! Did you save me a piece? ;-p
ReplyDeleteHA! - you will have to fight Michelle and her crew for some of it. :)
