Well it is almost the new year here ~ and I can't believe how FAST
this year has flown by! WOW!! It was a blur! So much happened this year.
So many things to be thankful for, and so many things to remember!
Which of course means so many things to scrap in the coming year :o)
Over at Scrapfit the Weekend Warm-up is to pick your favorite LO or card
from this year - I hard a really hard time with this!! How to narrow it down to just one!
Well, I finally picked a mini-album that I did, rather than a LO.
This was the album that I made to enter into the State Fair of Texas Creative Arts
Competition. This is a BIG DEAL here in Texas. This was the first time I have ever entered
anything in the competition - and I won SECOND place!
I was pretty excited to see that Red Ribbon next to my project during the fair,
let me tell you!
So here is a look at my book, just in case you missed it the first time around :o)
The category that I entered was "Designer Craftsman - Current State Fair Theme"
and this year the theme was
"125 Years of Tradition"
so I made my book about the history of the fair itself, and how it related to my, and my kids, trips to the fair over the years. I wrote about the things I did as a child and how my daughters still did those things today. Those are our family's fair traditions, and that is what I wanted to share.
Wauw great album you have made so many cool things to see.
