Memories - Sketchabilities #78

Good morning fellow bloggers!
Are you ready for Halloween? I have my candy bought, but
I did not decorate this year. I just can't seem to find the time!
Maybe tomorrow. Yeah,,, right!

Today it is time for a new reveal at Sketchabilities
here is my take on the sketch

My papers are a mix of Glitz, 7 Gypsies and Harmonie. I also used chippies from Leaky Shed Studio, Prima, Basic Grey button, Tsukineko inks, Cosmo Cricket brad and my sewing machine.

The journal spot is a die cut from Glitz Designs. The chippie is from Leaky Shed Studios. I painted it with Jenni Bowlin dabber, and then used WOW embossing powder on it. I love the effect I get when I sprinkle the powder onto wet paint and heat it.

This piece is also from Leaky Shed - if you have not ever shopped with them you should check them out. They have great stuff and it is made right here in the good ol' USA!  I used Jenni Bowlin dabbers on this one too.

Here is a look at Sketch #78
Be sure to come by and play along. Karen has the best sketches ever!

This is the second page of a two page layout. I posted the first page a little earlier here
this is what they look like together

In my quest to use up the paper I have, I pulled some papers I bought eons ago (well, maybe last year!) and even though they are from different companies I like they way they looked together. I used the same patterns on both pages to make sure that they coordinated.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!
If you are on the east coast - take cover!!!!
