I picked up this cute mason jar at the store a while back - it holds votive holder inside- and I have been waiting to make something with it. The Porcelain Paints were super easy to apply and look great. I used a very small stipple brush to create the texture of the mushrooms, then outlined with a very small liner brush. I set it aside to dry at this point.
My second step was to add the white dots using the ball tip of an embossing tool. I used a small flat brush to add the stems and set aside to dry again. Last step was to add what I am going to call leaves. They don't look like leaves - but I am going to call them that anyway. Let's all pretend they are leaves. Your cooperation is appreciated.
So,, this looks way better in person than in a photo. I seriously took about 15 photos from different angles and with different exposures with no luck. This was as good as it got. It looks very cool - trust me on this.
