Pumpkin Festival Layout

Rinea Foil
One of the best things about being a member of the Dallas Arboretum is that we can go anytime we want! I love being able to go for a couple of hours and then leave if it is crazy crowded, or the weather isn't great. We really love the Pumpkin Festival every year and make several trips to enjoy it. Look how big those pumpkins are!

This month at Rinea we are collaborating with Creative Embellishments. I love chipboard embellies!!  I have long used Creative Embellishments on my layouts - so it was a joy to use them this month too.

Rinea Ghost ink
I started my layout by using the Rinea Ghost Ink 2.0 on a sheet of the Mocha/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper. I used a heart stamp that I love. I use it in a variety of ways because it is just so versatile! Have you tried the new Ghost Ink yet? It's pretty cool. You stamp your desired image on a piece of the Foiled Paper, let dry, then use a paper towel to wipe away the color. COOL!

Acrylic embellishments
I had an acrylic piece from an old Fancy Pants set that I wanted to use for this layout. Using the Mocha/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper behind it turned out perfectly! I used a thin coat of Glossy Accents over the entire acrylic shape to adhere it to the foiled paper, then set aside to dry. I used a craft knife (my favorite is from Tonic) to trim the excess foiled paper away and this is the result! How cool is that?

Creative Embellishments
I inked this older piece from Creative Embellishments with VersaMagic ink in Sahara Sand - one of my favorite colors. I added the white accents using a Sakura Jelly Roll pen #10. Did you know that they make several different widths of their white pen? I love the bold version - the #10.

Word banner
I used this super cute word banner from Creative Embellishments for my title. I love how easy it is to add chipboard embellishments to my layouts and projects. They can be inked, heat embossed, flocked - so many options!

Acrylic hearts
These cute little hearts are from the same set from Fancy Pants. I left these plain and adhered them with Glossy Accents as well.

Stardust Pen
How cute is this little gnome?? I used the Tulla and Norbert line from PhotoPlay paper. I love this line! I saw it at Creativation and It. Is. Darling.  I fussy cut this little guy from one of the journal cards and added that nice twinkle to the heart using a Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust Pen.
