Chasing Seagulls - ColourQ #97 & Paper Issues

Hello fellow bloggers!
Today I have my LO for ColourQ #97
The colors this week were really right up my alley.
I am soooo into the blues right now.
Maybe I am hoping that all the blue on my
paper will make me cooler!
I used the prompt over at Paper Issues  for this LO
as well - the theme is SPLASH! and I
immediately thought of this series of photos.

I am STILL working on my DD's graduation album, I should learn to not take so many pic's!

I started with Bazzill cardstock and spattered it with my Pearlescent Liquid Acrylics. The PP is from Jillibean Soup, and I have used Prima, Tim Holtz, Maya Road, K&Co, Websters Pages, EK Success, American Crafts and some stuff from my stash.

For the title I use Tim Holtz grunge board letters and blocks, painted them with Adirondack paint dabbers, then spattered them with the pearlescent paint.

It is a little hard to see in the photo, but I glued down little ripples of micro beads and glitter in the seascape I created in the corner.

Here is a look at my palette from ColourQ

Be sure to go to the blog and take a look see at the
projects the talented ladies on the Design Team
have created this week. They are amazing as always!

Be sure to hop over to Paper Issues  as well - there
are some amazing projects linked up over there!

We are only a couple of days away from breaking a 21 year
old record for the number of 100
degree days in a row here in Dallas.
It was 107 again today!

Thanks for stopping by to see me today.
Be sure to click on the little box in the side bar and
"Like" me on Facebook.
Have a wonderful week!
