Good evening everyone!
It is Tuesday, so it is time for a new palette over at ColourQ
This weeks colors were so fun!
I have made a layout with photos from some time ago - 2006.
This little travel game is still with us in our family. The "kids" still play it
whenever we are all together.
I did this whole layout and realized that I had not used even one
tiny piece of patterned paper! So I had to add the corner pieces.
I used SU and Bazzill cardstock, Prima, Sassafrass Lass and Thickers alphas, The Girl's Paperie,
some ribbon, LYB die cut, Tsukineko inks.
The stick pins I made myself, see the tutorial here.
For the title I used Thinkers and alphas from Sassafras Lass.
This large piece of paper with the journal spot is in fact a sheet from a mouse pad!
I bought a couple of them a few years ago to make a mini album with.
You can see that album HERE
Here is a look at this weeks palette from ColourQ
Super fun right!!
Be sure to hop over to the blog and see the goodness that the
fabulous ladies on the DT have come up with!
I have also used the sketch from Sketches in Thyme #84
You have until the end of the month to join in the fun over at
Sketched in Thyme so be sure to get over there!
Thanks so much for stopping by today.
Have a great week!

Great layout Anita. I love all the elements you've mixed together. And although I can't imagine what the crocodile dentist game is, it sure looks like everyone is having loads of fun!
ReplyDeleteGreat layout Anita, I love your stitching and I always adore all of your accents! So excited to be designing on colourQ with you.
ReplyDeleteWE have this game too. Probably about as old as yours. You are right, no matter how old you are, it still can make you laugh. Ours has been a little abused as well, and sometimes he has some TMJ problems, but so far we've always been able to get his jaw hinged back on! Cute LO!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness does that game bring back memories. We had that for our kids too. Your layout was so colorful and the photos were so much fun to look at, I didn't even notice that you didn't use patterned paper. I think it's just such a playful layout!
ReplyDeletethis is so fun!! you rocked the sketch
ReplyDeleteI have never played that game but now I am curious!! Thank you for playing with us at SIT.
ReplyDeletewow.......I like how you did the title..... it's wonderful!
