Hi everyone, how is it going with you today?
It is shaping up to be another beautiful day here in
Dallas, so maybe I can get some yard work in :o)
Today I have my DT Project for Faber-Castell®
It is an Easter layout using photos from so many years ago.
Yes, I am just now getting around to scrapping my
kids baby photos. I am going in reverse order!
I used Kaisercraft papers and embellishments for this layout. This burlap ribbon is from Maya Road and the buttons are from Fancy Pants. I used my Gelatos® and Stampers Big Brush Pens to color the wooden leaves you see here. I also heat embossed, and glittered a little bit.
For the background I used Gelatos® to color my Gesso, applied over a stencil, then added a little extra color when it was dry.
I absolutely adored this line of Kaisercraft papers - and I knew I would be fussy cutting this frame as soon as I saw it! I highlighted it with a gold paint pen for a rococo feel :)
The banner here is from a Kaisercraft baby line so it was a little too pale to blend in here. I grabbed my Gelatos® and buffed some color onto the edges.
I used my Art GRIP® Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils to color the die-cut butterflies - also from Kaisercraft.
I used WOW Embossing powder on my wooden piece - no other brand gives this look. I love it!
Be sure to hop over to the Faber-Castell® Design Memory Craft blog to
see the whole project as well as detailed technique photos and supply lists.
I am sad to say that this is my last project with the Faber-Castell®
Spring Guest Design Team :( This has been a great experience and I have enjoyed
working with all the fabulously talented ladies on the team!
I have some blog candy to give away today from
Faber-Castell® - you will love this!
