Hi everyone! It's Anita here and I am so happy to be posting for the first time as a
DT Member for Smoothfoam!!!
My DD1 is having her first child later this fall, so of course I must use my craftiness to make shower decorations. She is using a Minnie Mouse theme, so I knew that I could make something amazing with Smoothfoam balls. (and thank goodness she changed, because she wanted Pink Transformers- which just made my head hurt thinking about)
To make these for yourself you will need:
- Smoothfoam 4 12" Balls
- Smoothfoam 2 1/2" Balls
- Smoothfoam 3" Cube
- clay pots
- dowel rods
- paint
- filler
- Ribbons
Paint your clay pots and then press a Smoothfoam cube into the pot, making sure it is secure.
Add the smaller balls to the larger balls, trimming just a bit off of each to give a better fit.
I think this one is my favorite- love that black tulle tucked in there!
Here is a look at all 4 of the centerpieces I made
This is just adorable!! Perfect for so many different celebrations. Congrats on your new team too - you're off to a fantastic start.
