Hey y'all! I am finally catching up on some of my scrapbook layouts. Holidays are so much more fun with a little kid in the house again. This was the princess' first real Easter. I have used Rinea Foiled Paper to embellish my layout.

Look how cute she is! My goodness this little kid brings so much joy to our lives. I have been on a mission to keep my layouts FLAT. For years I have piled the embellishments on and it has become a problem getting them in albums. I use WRMK D-Ring Albums and I love how they hold up. I have been using them for about 10 years and the older ones are still in perfect shape with no leaning over.
For this layout I used papers from Pebbles and Imaginisce, stickers from Jillibean Soup and PhotoPlay, Rinea foiled papers, punches and embossing folders.
I started by embossing a piece of Gold/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper with a honeycomb embossing folder. Then I punched two sizes of hexagons with a hella old Creative Memories punch.
Look how amazing they look. I love that punch - I have the larger version of it too and I use them probably more than I should! I used a Fiskars border punch on a strip of Jade/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and tucked that piece under my photo mat.
I finished up my layout by adding some sticker embellishments under the photo mat and a border sticker along the edge of the mat. I love to outline my stickers with a fine line black pen - I think it just makes them pop out from the page and really calls attention to them. My favorite is the Stabilo Black Fineliner - it has an ultra fine top and doesn't bleed.
