Disney Family Vacation 2018

Simple Stories Disney
Today over on the Designer Crafts Connection Blog we are are hoping with projects made with the new Mod Podge Ultra from Plaid. It was the perfect adhesive to start on my Disney Family Vacation album - the prints are in the mail!

My base is a Simple Stories Album and I am using Echo Park papers to embellish.

We have such a talented group of designers participating in the hop - so be sure to hop over to the Designer Crafts Connection blog to check them all out.

Mod Podge Ultra

Mod Podge Ultra was released at Creativation back in January. It created quite a stir! SPRAY-ABLE Mod Podge!! Let that sink in y'all. No brush marks. No brushes for that matter. It is incredibly versatile.  Be sure to check out the Plaid Facebook Page for some amazing ideas on how to use it.

The Paper Wizard die cut
My very first thought when I saw this back at the show was - "that will be perfect for layering die cuts with". No more trying to get a minute amount of glue on a tiny piece of paper! Just spray it and adhere. It is a good idea to cover your work surface - I used parchment paper taped together to make a large piece.

Layered die cuts
I laid the pieces of my die cut in order on the parchment. I started with the largest piece first- I sprayed piece number 2 and then adhered it to the base layer. I continued on in this fashion, spraying the backs of each piece and layering, until everything was in place.

Disney Scrapbook

This piece is from The Paper Wizard - I love their stuff. It's true I could cut my own using my Cameo machine, but seriously,, why spend and hour designing and cutting, when I can just open the package and glue???

Important information about Mod Podge Ultra
Just like a paint brush, Mod Podge Ultra Spray tops need to be cleaned after every use. If they aren't they will clog and become unusable.
