Dressing up a Layout with Die Cut Ribbon

Die Cut Ribbons

Have you seen the new Die Cut Ribbons from Gwen Studios at your local Wal-mart? They are beautiful! I have been looking for just the right embellishments to scrapbook this photo of my princess for a while. I love the Fa-la-la Words ribbon and it was perfect!

I have to give a shout out to Persnickety Prints for the amazing 4x8 print I used here.  If you have never had your photos printed with Persnickety you need to give them a try! The use actual lab prints - not inkjet prints. The difference is amazing.

 Die Cut Ribbon

I choose to layer the die cut ribbon on a layer of grosgrain ribbon to make it stand out. I will say it was hard to photograph but it looks great in person!  The blue grosgrain perfectly matched the papers and embellishments from Doodleboug Design that I used.

Best adhesive for ribbon

My go to adhesive for fiddly bits is 1Craft StickyDots by Thermoweb. These little sheets are amazing for getting adhesive on tiny or odd shaped pieces. Be sure to check it out - it's a great product!

Die Cut Sticker Embellishments

I used papers from Doodlebug Designs Milk and Cookies collection. I *LOVE* these colors for Christmas! They are so beautiful.  Those little tiny hearts are also Doodlebug - from the Hey Cupcake line.

Doodlebug Embellishments

Look how cute! These are so tiny I use my tweezers to put them in place.
