Independence Day Picnic for Two

 

Since my sweet princess had to head home before Independence Day, we decided to celebrate a couple of days early. We had a fun picnic for two! I dressed up our party supplies with curling ribbon from Gwen Studios, available at Wal-Mart. 

We picked up some fun supplies at Dollar Tree- drink bottles, hanging banner, and recyclable tableware for the win! We tied Gwen Studios curling ribbon around the bottle tops, the place settings, and my mason jar. I also hung longer pieces from the top of the secretary to frame the hanging banner. I used red, blue, and silver for everything.

How fun are the handles to the table ware we picked up?! So incredibly cute! 

 

I have to admit, I am pretty well over the whole "gnome" bit. Can we all agree that they have done the gnome to death at this point? But these were so cute I couldn't help myself! We decided that some lemonade with mango juice added would be perfect to go with our PB&J sandwiches.
