Carlsbad Caverns and ColourQ

Howdy blogging friends!
I am on the mend and finally able to do some scrapping
again. Thank you all so much for your well wishes after my surgery.
Recovery hasn't been quite as bad as I thought it would be,
and everything is going smoothly!

Today I have a layout that I made using the newest Palette from ColourQ.
This one is for my Girl Scout Album
from our trip to Guadalupe Mountains. While we were there, we headed
up to Carlsbad Caverns and Roswell to sight see.

Here is a look
I used a mix of MME, Authentique and other papers for this.
My punches are EK Success and Stampin' Up, the ribbon is from my stash, the pearls are Want2Scrap.
Die cut stickers are Jillibean Soup, and alphas are Basic Grey
Look how cute they all were!

Here is a look at this weeks color Palette from ColourQ
I did not have the Caribbean Blue, so I substituted another blue for it.

Be sure to link up your project over on the blog to play along.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Tomorrow I have a fabulous project that I did for Glue Dots®
to share so be sure to shop back by.

Pixies - ColourQ #183

Happy Wednesday Peeps!
Is it vacation time yet?
I spent the entire beautiful afternoon sorting and
totaling receipts, working on my taxes. Bleh.

I think it is time to move on to scrappy endeavors, don't you?

Since it is Tuesday there is a new palette up at ColourQ
This weeks colors were right up my alley - pinks and yellow!
yummy,,,

My papers are MME - a mix of old an newer papers and embellishments.
My photo mat and the pieces behind the photo were all
cut from my MME 6X6 stacks - love those!
For the journal strips in the corner, I cut up and MME journal card.
I have used a mix of brads and sticker embellishments from from the Lost and Found lines.
The large flower is from Prima, chipboard butterfly from Technique Tuesday.
I used my Martha Stewart and EK Success Punches.
My butterflies were sprayed with Tsukineko Fireworks and edged with Rose Metal Gelatos®.
I scattered my brads around the page, and I got some great use out of the Stampin' Up Hexagon punches I picked up at a yard sale a couple of weeks ago for $2 bucks! Best sale ever!!
I used my Tsukineko and CTMH inks, and my sewing machine. I also threw
in a couple of Pink Paisley embellies and some bling.
