Good morning everyone! It is National Craft Month and there are so many thing going on to celebrate! Today I have a new layout for The Crafty Scrapper using the brand new Echo Park line - Jack and Jill. This line is SOOO cute y'all!
I don't have very many chances to use boy themed papers, so I was happy to be able to put these to use. Of course, there are not that many pics of the hubs either, so that is a challenge too!
I layered several of the die cut stickers around the page, using foam tape under some of them for dimension. Of course, journaling in my own handwriting is a must for my pages.
For my title I used a chippie from Want2Scrap and white embossing powder.
Don't you just love Wendy Vecchi's stamps? The background stamps are amazing on page layouts too- don't limit them to tags and cards!
The entire Jack and Jill line is available at The Crafty Scrapper, so be sure to stop by and grab some while they last!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. What are your plans for National Craft Month? Do you have lots of fun things planned?

By The Sea- TCS June Challenge
Good morning everyone!
Summer time is here, and I hope you are enjoying it!
Today we a new blog challenge for you at The Crafty Scrapper
and this month we want you to
USE METAL
anywhere on your project.
Your project can be a layout, card, tag, off the wall- pretty much anything
as long as you have METAL on it!
Here is a look at my project
I have used yummy new papers from Bo Bunny, Echo Park and Carta Bella for my layout.
Here are some close ups
This chippie is from Blue Fern Studios. I used embossing powder on it, then highlighted it with a white pen.
New Prima Flowers, and some amazing new METALS from Maya Road.
Die cut stickers from Carta Bella and more METAL from Maya Road.
I used my Wendy Vecchi stamp to create a double layer flower. I colored it with Faber-Castell pens and pencils.
Well there you have it!
Use any kind of METAL on your project and link up below before the end of June!
Here is a look at our fabulous prize this month

Oceans of Fun- New Echo Park Papers
Howdy blogging friends!
How is the weather where you are?? Isn't it super freaky this year?
I have a friend in Colorado that got snow yesterday! It has been raining
here for days and the temp is down to the low 60s today. Not that I am complaining!
Today I have a new layout for The Crafty Scrapper to share
using some really cute new Echo Park Papers!!
How cute is this new paper!!! It is Summer Adventures from Echo
Park- be sure to get yours before it is all gone! If you are not near the store, remember- they ship!
I used a stencil and Molding Past to add some texture to my background. The flowers are Vintage Prima
and the chipboards are BLue Fern Studios, and they have been embossed using Sparkle N Sprinkle EPs.
I used my Cameo to make my layered title using Bazzill cardstocks.
So you have a Cameo and want to learn more ways to use it? I will be teaching a series of classes
on how to use your Cameo starting in June/July.
The journal card is also from the same paper line, and I used torn
strips from the line to make a layered mat for my photo and
inked them with Powder Puff ink from Quick Quotes.
The word art here is trimmed from one of the Journal Cards, and I added a little bit of bling down each edge to make it pop. In the upper corner I used a square chippie from MME to accent- I cut it in half so it would fit where I wanted it. These are also available at the store.
I am linking up at the following challenges:
Quick Quotes- use torn paper
Use Your Stuff - use ribbon/fibers

Day at The Zoo- Sparkle N Sprinkle
Well,, it is a rainy afternoon here in Dallas, so I guess that means I should
spend the afternoon in my craft room, right?
Today I have a project for Sparkle N Sprinkle to share with you using
the new Ellie The Elephant #553 stamp set that was just released the 1st of April.
It is so cute!!
I have used Bazzill cardstock along with Echo Park papers. I sprayed my entire background
cardstock with Iridescent Memories Mist- I am so loving that product- then stamped a border
across the page using Brocade Backgrounds and heat embossed with Cappuccino.
I stamped my Ellie the Elephant onto smooth white cardstock, and colored with
PITT® Pastel Pencils from Faber-Castell Design Memory Crafts.
The flowers are from Spring Backgrounds, which I stamped and heat embossed.
I then covered the image with VersaMark, srpinkled with Stickum Powder and heated;
once it was nice and sticky and covered with Bubblegum Glitter- with the Stickum Powder the
glitter will stay in place perfectly! The sparklers in the centers are KaiserCraft.
I cut my banner with my Cameo, and gave it a good spray with Iridescent Memories Mist too.
My chippie is Dusty Attic and I have heat embossed it with Black Detail. I also used
my Cameo to cut my title, using 2 1/2" Tear-ific Tape applied to cardstock, then burnished
with Meadow Spark GL.
I am linking up a the following challenges:

Girl Scout Sunday
Hello, hello blogging buddies!!
I hope you have had a wonderful weekend so far!
Mine had been pretty fast, I am trying to get
a lot of things done before I go in for surgery this Friday!!!
I am hoping that my household stays intact with the hubs in charge.
Today I have another layout from my Girl Scout Album
to share. This field trip was pretty much an annual event for us.
Scout Sunday is hosted by all the churches here in out town
and they recognize all the Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops.
I have used Echo Park papers for this along with some Bazzill Raven cardstock.
The flower is Bo Bunny and the acetate petals in the back are from an
old, OLD, OLD Heidi Grace sheet. I am determined to use up all the stuff I bought!
I used Art Glue and silver glitter to edge the flower.
I borrowed my buddies GINORMOUS punch for this pennant!
My stamps are from Basic Grey, the chipboard is Um WOW Studios and
I have heat embossed all the pieces.
This stamp is Maya Road, the bird rub on is Creative Imaginations.
I am linking up at the following challenges:
Stuck Sketches - I rotated the sketch and used only one photo
City Crafter's Challenge - Birds
Paper Lovers Studio - Recipe: 3 pattern papers, background stamping,
punched shape, handwriting (it is hard to see, but the pink paper does
have a pattern on it, look below the photo)
Thank so much for stopping by today!
Have a wonderful week!!!

Girl Scout Camping - Frosted Designs
Howdy blogging friends!!
Who is going to CHA next week? I will be there, so look for me!
I am super ready to go and see all the new stuff :o)
Today over at Frosted Designs we have a new challenge up
The Great Outdoors- which is perfect for all the Girl Scout photos I have
been scrapping lately!! Even if the Huffington Post says that
I used Echo Park papers along with Glitz Designs, MME, Basic Grey, and Bazzill Cardstock.
I added faux stitching to my pennants with my PITT® Artist Pen in Black.
I used a MS punch and my title is made using Basic Grey alphas. I used these
same alphas throughout the album, I loved how small they were. I could put a title
on the page without it being overwhelming.
The journal card is from a Recollections pack. I used Tsukineko inks throughout.
Be sure to stop by the blog and see some fabulous inspiration from the
Design Team. We have some fabulous and talented ladies on the team!
I am also linking up at the following challenges:
City Crafters Challenge : layout
Lasting Memories: Country Colors
Challenge Me Happy: Anything Goes
Southenr Girls Challenge: No Ribbon/Twine/or Cotton
Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a great weekend :)
